Dr. William T. Wright, Jr., was born in Flint, Michigan, but was raised in Nash County, NC in the Swift Creek Community.  He started a career in radio broadcasting and manufacturing before pursuing his ultimate calling as an educator.  The journey began in 1992 when he worked as a substitute teacher while working in manufacturing on his off days.  In 1998, the full time education journey began with him beginning his teaching career at Edwards Jr. High School.  Dr. Wright has followed a fairly traditional path of matriculation having served as an Assistant Principal at the middle and high school levels, a Principal at the middle and high school levels, an Assistant Superintendent of a 21,000 student district, and he served for 12 years as a School Superintendent in North and South Carolina.  He is happily married to his high school classmate, Mrs. Mary Barnes Wright.  Dr. and Mrs. Wright have two sons, William III, and M. Deonte'. both of whom are education professionals. Today, he has ventured into a new endeavor as Founder and CEO of Infinity Force Group, LLC specializing in Motivational Speaking, Leadership Mentoring and Coaching, Charter School Management and Project Management.  The LLC is also the sponsor of "The Wright Experience", a Podcast that he founded in 2021.
